Project Manager

Help students transform their ideas into successful projects using Scrum/Agile methodologies. Guide project teams through sprints, improve requirements, and ensure timely delivery of quality software.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding student teams through the Agile development process.

Project Planning & Requirements
  • Help students define clear project requirements and scope
  • Break down projects into manageable sprints and user stories
  • Create and maintain product backlogs for student teams
  • Assist in writing acceptance criteria for features
  • Guide students in requirement prioritization using MoSCoW method
Scrum/Agile Facilitation
  • Facilitate daily standups for student project teams
  • Conduct sprint planning and sprint review sessions
  • Lead retrospectives to identify improvement areas
  • Track sprint velocity and team performance metrics
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices
Team Coordination
  • Coordinate between multiple student project teams
  • Remove blockers and impediments for team progress
  • Foster collaboration and communication within teams
  • Assign tasks based on student skill levels and learning goals
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and demo schedules
Progress Tracking & Reporting
  • Maintain JIRA boards and track project progress
  • Generate sprint reports and burndown charts
  • Provide regular status updates to training managers
  • Document lessons learned and best practices
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as Project Manager or Scrum Master
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
  • Problem-solving mindset and conflict resolution skills

Nice to Have

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMP certification
  • Experience in software development background
  • Prior experience in training or educational environments
  • Knowledge of Full Stack development lifecycle
  • Experience managing multiple teams simultaneously
