Roles & Responsibilities
As a Content Writer at Spinsoft, you will create clear, engaging documentation that supports our training programs and helps students succeed.
Training Documentation
- Document training processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Create trainer guides and session plans
- Develop student handbooks and learning materials
- Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) for academy operations
- Maintain and update training documentation regularly
Technical Knowledge Base
- Write technical articles on Full Stack technologies
- Create tutorials and how-to guides for students
- Document coding standards and best practices
- Develop troubleshooting guides and FAQs
- Collaborate with trainers to capture technical knowledge
Project Requirements
- Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Document project requirements and specifications
- Create product backlog items in JIRA/Confluence
- Develop use cases and user scenarios
- Review and refine requirements with stakeholders
Content Strategy
- Plan and organize content structure for knowledge base
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting
- Research industry trends for relevant content topics
- Collaborate with team to identify documentation gaps
- Measure content effectiveness and gather feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation
- Strong understanding of software development concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in documentation tools (Confluence, Notion, Google Docs)
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for beginners
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of Full Stack technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java)
- Familiarity with JIRA for user story management
- Previous experience in EdTech or training industry
- Portfolio of technical writing samples
- Experience with Markdown and version control (Git)
